CHINA-INDIA TRADE DEAL WILL HAVE A BIG IMPACT ON LATIN AMERICA -- AND NOT ALWAYS POSITIVE

This week's agreement between China and India to dramatically boost their economic ties will have a major impact on Latin America, and it may not always be good news for the region. Read here the reasons why, and let us know what you think.

I agree with Andres view, but like every problems are come up with some level of opportunity. Here the opportunity is chance for Latin America to get tie with Indian technology and manufacturing firms..

I don't understand. United States was partly responsible for destroying Argentina's Industry.

Besides, there is enough internal demand in latinamerica to develop manufacture goods for itself.

Also, in the case of Argentina, they can force exports of manufactured soy products because they basically are the main producers of soy in the world.

This means that when one country has full control over its commodities, it can pretty much develop and command any manufactured products based on whatever commodity it produces.

Argentina is doing this with processed soy products. Chile is turning a blind eye with it's copper production. I think they should develop a copper industry as well.
