LATIN AMERICA: TOO MUCH POLITICS, TOO LITTLE TECHNOLOGY

Judging from a new ranking of the world's most Internet-advanced countries, many Latin American leaders should spend less time talking about political revolutions, and focus more of their energies in joining the 21st century's technological revolution. Read the results of the newly released ''Global Information Technology Report'' put out by the Switzerland-based World Economic Forum, my opinion about it, and let us know what YOU think.

Anders Oppenheimer for Presidente of Latin America! Anders, until Latin America puts people like you in charge, there will no change in their plight. 99% of Latin Americans think they would have sent a man to the moon in 1535 if not for "Anglo interference" in their countries. With that mindset, nothing will change there.
You go partway in the right direction. Where I disagree with you is that I want you people to create your own industries and your own jobs.
You expect to the USA to send you people our jobs and to fund all your social programs.
